When my husband and I put up Pickings in 2014, our main products were cream cheese-based spreads and local fruit jams. After trying our hand at baking, we have decided to add pastries to our product line. Now, baking will be easier because Wonderbake Baking and Supply Store open in SM Southmall.
You don’t know how ecstatic I was when I saw this new baking supply store at the mall. I don’t have to travel that far to source my baking ingredients because as you know, this mall is only 5 minutes away from our home 🙂
Wonderbake SM Southmall, which opened on September 15, 2015, is the company’s fifth branch. Their other branches are at the Fairview Terraces, Trinoma, Marquee Mall in Pampanga, and at the UP Town Center. They will open another store at SM Bicutan very soon.
The brick walls, wooden counters, crates and not to mention the colorful display of cupcake liners, lured me inside. Their racks are filled with ingredients to the brim to supply whatever the busy baker needs. The store’s friendly staff will gladly assist or answer any of your queries. While I was taking photos for this blog post, I overheard two young ladies who were smitten by what the store offers and said to each other, “Gusto ko magbake! Tara bake tayo!” (I want to bake! Let’s bake!) If you want to start baking for your family, a trip to this store will surely encourage you to just do that.
Their prices are fairly competitive. You’ll find an array of baking necessities from flour to baking pans. Also, if you’re planning a kid’s party, they have cake (display) stands, decorative cupcake liners, multi-colored paper straws, napkins, buntings, etc.
