After my first ever blog workshop, I was motivated to buy my domain and finally own my posts. As soon as the site was ready, I was on my laptop writing everyday. Time was also spent on reading other blogs, getting insights from the pros and learning more about the blogging world.
Last December, Martine de Luna, again hosted another creative blog workshop called “Blog Your Best Year.” As a participant, I was able to get a free blog critique, yey!
Martine gave us homework to do so that we can avail of the free critique. What would this award-winning blogger say about my blog? I was afraid to submit my homework but I had to so I emailed my assignment. As promised, I received my complimentary critique via email. Reading Martine’s recommendations proved how professional she is. This woman knows what she’s talking about. Her FREE critique shouldn’t be called free as she was too generous with her ideas. Super thanks Martine!
One of my goals for 2014 is to enhance my blog site. Aside from a design makeover, I will be realigning my blog mission with my posts, pages, categories and features hoping to connect with more readers.
I took some of Martine’s instructions would incorporate them here very soon. I’m excited to work on the changes and looking forward to seeing the results.
There is so much work to be done but I’m taking my time. As Charles Spurgeon says, “By perseverance the snail reached the ark.”
What specific goals do you have for 2014 and how are doing so far? I would love to hear them too.
