This summer was Jianne’s second time to join Vacation Bible School. She was so eager to be part of this summer experience again in church. If last year she was sad because she didn’t get any award, this year we all received a surprise. She received the Most Attentive Award for Grade 1! I saw her face beaming when she went up on stage to get her certificate and prize. At home, she asked me if there would be VBS again, I told her next year would be another one. She cried for a while and said she’ll be missing VBS. I guess she really enjoyed herself this year 🙂
